Blueberry  Simple  Syrup

Blueberry Simple Syrup makes adding blueberry flavor to cocktails so easy and is also a delicious pancake or ice cream topping!

Makes:  1 3/4 cups Prep Time: 5 mins Chill Time: 10 mins

Ingredients:

1) Water 2) Granulated Sugar 3) Fresh Blueberries

Put sugar, water, and blueberries in a medium-size saucepan and bring mixture to a boil.

Make Syrup

Once boiling, lower heat & let simmer for 10-15 mins, until blueberries have burst & mixture has thickened.

Make Syrup

Strain mixture into a bowl, being sure to press down on the berries to extract as much juice as possible.

Strain Syrup

Place syrup in fridge to cool completely before using.

Chill Syrup

Use syrup in cocktails like this Blueberry Vodka Lemonade.
