Cadbury Creme Egg Chocolate Cream Pie

This Cadbury Creme Egg Chocolate Cream Pie incorporates both kinds of Cadbury Eggs into a delicious Easter dessert!

Makes: 8-10 servings Prep Time: 30 mins. Cook Time: 15 mins. Chill Time: 3 hours

Blend chocolate cookies in food processor & mix with crushed Cadbury Mini Eggs, melted butter, & salt.

Make Crust

Press cookie crumbs into bottom and up sides of 9" pie plate. Bake at 350 for 8 mins. Let cool completely.

Make Crust

Heat milk & sugar in saucepan, until just about to boil. In a large bowl, whisk egg yolks with sugar, cornstarch, & salt.

Make Filling

Whisk hot milk mixture into egg yolks & pour mixture back into saucepan. Place over medium heat, whisking, until mixture thickens to custard about 3 mins.

Make Filling

Remove saucepan from heat & stir in chopped Cadbury Creme Eggs. Whisk until chocolate is melted & mixture is smooth.

Pour chocolate mixture into prepared chocolate pie crust.

Smooth top with a spatula & cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate pie for at least 3 hours to cool completely.

Beat cream until soft peaks form, 2-3 mins. Beat in caramel sauce (homemade or store-bought).

Make Whipped Cream

Once cooled, top pie with caramel whipped cream. Drizzle additional caramel sauce on the top of pie.
