Cadbury Mini Egg Scones
Put those Cadbury Mini Eggs to good use & make Cadbury Mini Egg Scones! These scones make the perfect addition to your Easter brunch spread.
Makes: 8 scones Prep Time: 20 mins. Cook Time: 15 mins.
Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, & salt.
Cut in butter until pea-size pieces form with some larger chunks remaining.
Mix in sugar. Stir in yogurt, milk, & vanilla. Fold in crushed Cadbury Mini Eggs.
After kneading dough on lightly floured surface, form a circle about ¾" thick. Slice into 8 triangles & place on baking sheet.
Brush with milk & sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 13-15 mins, until scones are turning golden on top.
Let cool for a few minutes before drizzling icing over scones and topping with more crushed Mini Eggs.
