Chocolate Covered Strawberry  Frappuccino

Starbucks  Copycat Recipe

Did you know there's a Chocolate Covered Strawberry Frappuccino on Starbucks' secret menu? But it's also easy to make your own at home! I'll show you how.

Makes:  1 Frappuccino Prep Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

4 Components to Drink:

1)  Strawberries and Cream Frappuccino Base 2) Strawberry Puree 3) Vanilla Sweet Cream 3) Mocha Syrup

Base Ingredients:

– Vanilla sweet cream (recipe provided) – Vanilla ice cream – Strawberry puree (recipe provided) – Ice – Whipped cream, for topping

Strawberry Puree Ingredients:

– Strawberries (if you can't get fresh strawberries, you can use frozen) – Granulated sugar – Water

Mocha Syrup + Vanilla Sweet Cream Ingredients:

 Mocha Syrup: – Granulated sugar – Cocoa powder – Strongly brewed coffee – Salt

Sweet Cream: – 2% milk – Heavy cream – Vanilla simple syrup

Put all ingredients in a mason jar or other airtight container & shake well to combine.

Make Sweet Cream

Put all ingredients in a saucepan & whisk together.

Make Mocha Syrup

Bring mixture to a boil & then lower heat to a simmer. Let simmer for 15 minutes to thicken.

Pour syrup into a heat-proof bowl or jar & place in fridge to cool completely. It should continue to thicken as it cools.

Put all ingredients in a blender & process until smooth. Pour puree into a bowl or glass.

Put vanilla ice cream, ½ cup strawberry puree, sweet cream, & ice into blender & blend until smooth.

Make Frappuccino

Spoon ¼ cup strawberry puree into bottom of a tall glass.

Pour Frappuccino over puree.

Spoon 2 Tbsp mocha syrup over top.

Add whipped cream. Drizzle remaining mocha syrup over the top.
