Cranberry  Hummus

This Cranberry Hummus is served with Sage Pita Chips and makes for the perfect holiday appetizer or solution to those Thanksgiving leftovers!

Makes:  8 servings Prep Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 6 minutes

Ingredients:

– Tahini – Lemon juice – Extra-virgin olive oil – Chickpeas – Fresh cranberry sauce – Water

Pita Chip Ingredients:

– Olive oil – Fresh sage – Pepper – Pitas – Sea salt

Put tahini & lemon juice in food processor & blend for 1-2 mins, until tahini is nice & creamy. Add olive oil, salt, & pepper.

Make Hummus

Add chickpeas & process for another 1-2 mins.

Add cranberry sauce & process for another min, until blended & creamy.

Preheat oven to 400. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, chopped sage, & pepper.

Make Pita Chips

Place pita triangles on baking sheet & lightly brush with oil. Sprinkle with salt. Bake for 6-9 mins, until crispy.

Serve the cranberry hummus & pita chips together for a Thanksgiving  or Christmas appetizer or make it with Thanksgiving leftovers!
