Cranberry Simple Syrup

So many Holiday Uses!

This Cranberry Simple Syrup has so many uses from festive  holiday cocktails to oatmeal, pancake, and ice cream topping. It's easy to make & stays fresh in the fridge for up to a month!

Prep Time: 5 Min

Cook Time: 15 Mins


-Water -Granulated Sugar -Fresh Cranberries

Put water, sugar, & cranberries in medium saucepan & bring to a boil.

Step 1

Once boiling, lower heat & let simmer for 10 mins until cranberries have burst & mixture has thickened.

Step 2

Strain mixture into a bowl, pressing down on cranberries with wooden spoon or spatula to extract as much juice as possible.

Step 3

Keep syrup in bowl or pour into a mason jar & place in fridge to cool completely before using. 

Step 4

Keep in the fridge for up to a month. Syrup will continue to thicken as it cools.

Step 5

-In cocktails like cranberry mojitos or a simple cranberry vodka -Over pancakes, waffles, or french toast -In tea -Over oatmeal, yogurt, or ice cream -In a homemade salad dressing -In homemade soda -As a meat marinade
