Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
This easy Chocolate Chip Banana Bread is incredibly easy to make & is more delicious than the average banana bread thanks to chocolate & walnuts.
Makes: 8 servings Prep Time: 15 mins Bake Time: 60 mins
– All-purpose flour – Baking powder – Baking soda – Salt – Chocolate chips – Walnuts – Unsalted butter
– Granulated sugar – Eggs – Banana – Lemon juice – Vanilla
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees & butter & lightly flour a 9x5" metal loaf pan.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, & salt.
Combine chocolate chips & walnuts in a bowl. Add 1 Tbsp flour mixture & toss to coat.
Beat butter until light & fluffy, 2-3 mins. Add in sugar. Beat eggs in one at a time. Add mashed bananas, lemon juice, & vanilla. –
With the mixer on low speed, beat in flour mixture until just combined, taking care not to over-mix.
Spoon ⅓ of the batter into loaf pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 chocolate chips & walnuts. Spoon ⅓ of batter over. Sprinkle with remaining chips/nuts & top with remaining batter.
Bake for 55-60 mins, until edges are turning golden & a toothpick comes out clean. Turn out onto a rack and cool.
