Eggnog Syrup

This Eggnog Syrup is perfect for anyone who loves the flavor of eggnog, but doesn't love that creamy consistency. You can drizzle this into all of your coffee & tea drinks, on pancakes, ice cream, yogurt, & so much more!

Cook Time: 15 Mins


-Water -Granulated Sugar -Butter Extract -Rum Extract -Vanilla Extract -Ground Nutmeg

Put water and sugar in a medium saucepan and bring mixture to a boil.

Step 1

Once boiling, lower heat & let simmer for 10-15 mins, until sugar is dissolved & mixture has thickened a bit.

Step 2

Remove saucepan from heat & stir in butter extract, rum extract,  & vanilla extract.

Step 3

Stir in nutmeg.

Step 4

Pour syrup into mason jar or bowl & place in fridge to cool before using. Syrup will continue to thicken as it cools.

Step 5

You can use real butter instead of extract, but note that when the syrup cools, it will solidify & get a bit grainy. You can heat & stir it, but the syrup will work best in hot drinks.
