Halloween Cookie Dough

If you're looking for a fun, easy-to-make treat for Halloween, try this Halloween Cookie Dough! The edible cookie dough will be a hit at Halloween parties for both kids & adults.

Ingredients

– Unsalted butter – Granulated sugar – Vanilla extract – Salt – All-purpose flour (heat-treated) – Milk – Halloween M&Ms – Candy corn – Peanut butter chips – Candy eyes, optional

You may be surprised to learn flour is the biggest culprit in making raw cookie dough unsafe. But making it safe is easy- just heat it! Spread flour on a baking sheet & bake at 350 degrees for 5 mins. Let cool before using in cookie dough.

How to Heat Treat Flour

In the bowl of a mixer or a large bowl with hand mixer, cream butter & sugar on medium speed until light & fluffy, 3-4 mins. Add vanilla & salt.

Step 1

With mixer on low, add flour until combined. Add 5 Tbsp milk until dough comes together. Add more milk if cookie dough is too firm.

Step 2

Fold in M&Ms, candy corn, & peanut butter chips (or whatever candy you choose to use).

Step 3

Scoop cookie dough into bowls and top with candy eyes if using.

Step 4

This edible cookie dough is perfect for celebrating Halloween & will satisfy every sweet tooth!
