What's in an Iced Apple Shaken Espresso?

This drink consists of espresso, oat milk, and apple brown sugar syrup. You can either buy a bottle of syrup or make your own with the easy recipe I share here. I think this is one of the easiest Starbucks drinks to make at home!

Drink Ingredients:

– Ice – Espresso (I like blonde roast) – Apple brown sugar syrup (store-bought or recipe provided) – Oat milk

Apple Brown Sugar Syrup Ingredients

– Water – Dark brown sugar – Sliced apples – Ground cinnamon

Put water, sugar, sliced apples, & cinnamon in a medium saucepan & bring to a boil.

Make Syrup

Lwer heat & let simmer for 15-20 mins, until mixture thickens & apples have softened.

Strain mixture into a bowl, pressing on apples with a spoon or spatula to extract as much juice as possible.

Keep syrup in bowl or put in mason jar in fridge to cool before using. Syrup will continue to thicken.

Pour espresso & syrup into mason jar or shaker filled with ice. Shake for 20 seconds until espresso is frothy.

Pour entire contents of shaker (ice included) into a glass.
