Starbucks is introducing several lavender flavored drinks to their spring 2024 lineup and the Iced Lavender Oatmilk Latte is the perfect creamy, robust, and floral warm weather iced latte!

What's in an Iced Lavender  Oatmilk Latte?

This Iced Lavender Oatmilk Latte is one of the more simple drinks in Starbucks' lineup!  It contains blonde espresso, lavender powder, ice, & oat milk. That's it! I show you how to make your own lavender powder (just like Starbucks') at home, but you can substitute with a lavender syrup if you prefer.

Drink Ingredients:

– Blonde espresso or strongly brewed coffee – Lavender powder (recipe provided) or lavender syrup – Ice – Oat milk

Lavender Powder Ingredients:

– Dried lavender flowers (culinary-grade) – Granulated sugar – Black currant powder (for coloring) – Salt – Soy lecithin powder (optional for blending)

Put dried lavender in a spice or coffee grinder (you can also use a blender, food processor, or mortar & pestle.

Make Powder

Grind flowers into a fine powder. Transfer to small bowl.

Whisk sugar, black currant powder, salt, % soy lecithin (if using) into ground lavender.

Transfer mixture back to grinder (you may have to work in batches) & process until entire mixture is a fine powder.

Pour espresso into a glass & stir in lavender powder.

Add ice to espresso mixture.

Fill remainder of glass with oat milk.
