Peach Simple Syrup

This easy-to-make homemade Peach Simple Syrup is made with fresh summer peaches, sugar, & water & can be used to flavor everything from cocktails & soda to oatmeal, ice cream, cakes, & more.

Makes: 1 1/4 cups Prep Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins


1) Water 2) Granulated sugar 3) Peaches, sliced

Put water, sugar, & sliced peaches in saucepan & bring mixture to a boil.

Boil Syrup

Lower heat & let simmer for about 15 mins, until mixture has thickened & peaches have softened.

Simmer Syrup

Strain mixture into a bowl, being sure to press down on the peaches to extract as much juice as possible.

Strain Syrup

Keep syrup in bowl or pour into a mason jar & place in fridge to cool before using. Syrup will continue to thicken as it cools.

Cool Simple Syrup

You can use the discarded peaches for topping yogurt or ice cream or adding to cocktails like sangria.
