Pumpkin Dip Ingredients:

– Pumpkin puree – Brown sugar – Sour cream or plain Greek yogurt – Ground cinnamon – Ground nutmeg

In a large bowl, sprinkle yeast over ½ cup of warm (around 100-110 degrees) water. Let rest for about 5 minutes.

Make Dough

Stir in ½ Tbsp sugar & salt. Pour in beer (it will likely get frothy).

Make Dough

Stir in flour 1 cup at a time until you've added 3 cups. Add another ½ cup. If dough is sticky, add up to ½ cup more as needed.

Make Dough

Knead dough on a lightly floured surface for 5 mins. Place into a lightly oiled bowl in a warm area, cover with a kitchen towel, & let sit for an hour to rise.

Let Dough Rise

When dough is done rising, bring 8 cups of water & ¼ cup baking soda to a boil. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper & preheat oven to 425.

Let Dough Rise

While water is boiling, divide dough into equally-sized 12 balls.

Form Pretzels

Take a dough ball & roll it into a rope (15-20" long). Shape rope into a pretzel by forming into a "u" & crossing one end down, followed by the other end.

Form Pretzels

Drop pretzels into boiling water for about 30 seconds. Remove from water with slotted spoon & let excess water drip off. Place onto baking sheets.

Boil Pretzels

Brush each pretzel with lightly beaten egg & bake for 10-12 mins, until pretzels are golden. Remove from oven to cooling rack.

Bake Pretzels

In medium bowl, mix 1 cup sugar & cinnamon. Put melted butter in a 2nd bowl. Dip each pretzel into melted butter & directly into cinnamon sugar mix.

Coat Pretzels

Place all ingredients in a medium bowl.

Make Pumpkin Dip

And mix well until combined.

Make Pumpkin Dip

Dip these pumpkin beer soft pretzels into the sweet pumpkin dip and enjoy an ice cold beer on the side!
