Spiked Eggnog Doughnuts

Spiked Eggnog Doughnuts are packed with festive eggnog flavor & just a touch of rum. The incredibly moist baked doughnuts are perfect for the holiday season!

Makes:  12 doughnuts Prep Time: 15 mins Bake Time: 12 mins


– All-purpose flour – Granulated sugar – Baking powder – Ground cinnamon – Ground nutmeg – Salt

– Large Eggs – Eggnog – Rum – Unsalted butter – Sprinkles, optional

Eggnog Icing Ingredients:

– Confectioners' sugar – Unsalted butter – Rum – Salt – Eggnog

Preheat oven to 325 & lightly spray a doughnut pan with oil.

Prep Recipe

Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, & salt in a large bowl.

Make Batter

In a separate small bowl, whisk eggs. Add & whisk together eggnog, rum, & melted butter, until combined.

 Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients until combined, being careful not to over-mix.

Fill doughnut pan about 3/4 of the way with batter.

Fill Pan

Bake for 10-12 mins until doughnuts are cooked through and springy to the touch.

Bake Doughnuts

Whisk together confectioners' sugar, butter, rum, salt, & 4 Tbsp eggnog. If icing is too thick, add more eggnog or rum.

Make Icing

Once cooled, dip doughnuts in icing (I like to double dip) & top with sprinkles, if desired.
