Prep Time: 5 Min

Cook Time: 20 Min

Dragonfruit Syrup Ingredients

Water Granulate Sugar Dice Fresh Dragonfruit Dragonfruit Powder (optional for color if using white dragonfruit or if you don't have fresh dragonfruit)

If making your own dragon fruit syrup, put water, sugar, & diced dragon fruit in a saucepan & bring to a boil.

Step 1

Once boiling, lower heat & let simmer for 15 mins, until mixture has thickened & dragon fruit is softening.

Step 2

If using white flesh dragon fruit & want pink syrup, stir in dragon fruit powder, until powder is dissolved.

Step 3

Strain mixture into a bowl, pressing down on dragon fruit to extract as much juice as possible.

Step 4

Keep syrup in bowl or pour into mason jar & place in fridge to cool before using. Syrup will continue to thicken as it cools.

Step 5

If you can't find fresh dragon fruit, you can make this syrup with 2 tsp dragon fruit powder instead.

Tip

Add dragon fruit syrup, water, mango nectar, citric acid, & green coffee bean powder to a large jar or container. Shake well to combine & refrigerate until ready to use.

Step 6

Add ½ cup mango dragonfruit base, ½ cup lemonade, & ¼ cup freeze-dried dragon fruit pieces to ice-filled shaker.

Step 7

Shake well to combine.

Step 8

Pour entire mixture (ice included) into glass. Top with additional dragon fruit pieces & garnish with sliced lemon.

Step 9

This Starbucks copycat recipe tastes just like the Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade & is so refreshing on a hot summer day!
