Winter Wonderland Sugar Cookie Bark

A winter-themed bark with sugar cookie base that can be enjoyed during the holidays or all year round!

Ingredients

  • 2 ¼ C all-purpose flour
  • 1 t baking powder
  • ½ t salt
  • 1 C 2 sticks butter, room temperature
  • 1 ½ C granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 ½ t vanilla
  • Wilton Sugar Cookie Candy Melts
  • Sprinkles
  • 1 ½ C mini marshmallows

Instructions

  • Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
  • Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt together in a medium bowl. Set aside
  • Cream butter and sugar in the bowl of a stand mixer until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the egg and vanilla, being sure to scrape down the sides of the bowl.
  • Slowly mix in the flour mixture until just combined.
  • Place the dough in a ball onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and roll it out into a rectangle, about ⅛-inch thick.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees. Let the cookie cool slightly.
  • Put Sugar Cookie Candy Melts in a microwave-safe bowl and melt according to package directions.
  • Pour the candy melts onto the slightly cooled cookie and spread to cover the entire surface.
  • Sprinkle other wintry or holiday-themed sprinkles over the top and sprinkles marshmallows all over. Let the candy melts cool and harden.
  • Break into pieces into bark-like pieces.
  • Store in airtight container.
