Blackberry Feta Salad

The sweet, salty, tart, and peppery flavors in this Blackberry Feta Salad all work incredibly well together and it makes for a simple summer side dish or appetizer.

  • 4 cups arugula
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries
  • ½ cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 tsp fresh lemon zest, plus more for topping salad
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice (from about 2 lemons)
  • 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • tsp salt
  • tsp pepper


  • Toss arugula, blackberries, and feta cheese in a large bowl.
  • In a separate small bowl, whisk together lemon zest, lemon juice, olive oil, honey, salt, and pepper.
  • Drizzle half the dressing over the salad and toss. Serve on individual plates or bowls and top with lemon zest and more dressing if desired.
