Pumpkin Spice Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  • ¼ tsp ground cloves
  • tsp ground nutmeg

Instructions

  • Put all ingredients in a medium saucepan, stir, and bring to a boil.
  • Once boiling, lower heat and let simmer for about 10 minutes, until sugar is completely dissolved and mixture has thickened.
  • Pour syrup in a heat-proof bowl or mason jar and place in fridge to cool completely before using. Syrup will continue to thicken as it cools.
