Starburst Ice Cream

This pretty pink ice cream tastes exactly like Starburst candies! Starburst Ice Cream is easy to make with just a few ingredients and if you use the FaveREDs packs, it will have the most lovely hue!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 ½ cups whole milk
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup Starburst (about 32 candies) (I recommend the FaveREDs mix)

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whisk together heavy cream, milk, sugar, and salt until combined.
  • Stir in Starburst candies of your choice. I use all pink and red for a pretty pink ice cream.
  • Cover bowl and let mixture chill in fridge for at least 4 hours, stirring on occasion.
  • Strain any remaining Starburst candies out of mixture (most will be disintegrated) and pour strained milk mixture into ice cream maker. Process according to manufacturer's directions, likely running for about 20 minutes.
  • Transfer ice cream to containers and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
