Ingredients

  • 12 oz 2% milk
  • 2 oz white chocolate mocha sauce (recipe below or store-bought)
  • Whipped cream, for topping

White Chocolate Mocha Sauce

  • 4 oz white chocolate, roughly chopped (I recommend using a white chocolate bar instead of chocolate chips)
  • ½ cup fat-free sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup 2% milk

Instructions

  • Combine milk and white chocolate mocha sauce in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, until mixture comes to a simmer (don't let it come to a boil).
  • Pour white hot chocolate into a large glass and top with whipped cream.

White Chocolate Mocha Sauce

  • Put roughly chopped white chocolate in a medium heat-proof bowl.
  • In a small saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk and 2% milk over medium-low heat until it's just coming to a simmer.
  • Pour milk mixture over white chocolate and let sit for a minute. Then, stir until chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
  • Pour sauce into a heat-proof jar or bowl. Keep in the fridge until ready to use.

Notes

  • If you don't have nonfat sweetened condensed milk, you can use regular. If you're using full-fat, I recommend using skim milk instead of 2% for the sauce, but it should be fine even with 2% milk.
  • Store homemade white chocolate mocha sauce in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
