Chocolate Stout Brownies

In the mood for the fudgiest, moistest, most delicious brownies ever? These Chocolate Stout Brownies have beer mixed into the batter & are perfect for St. Patrick's Day or any time of year!

Ingredients

– Chocolate Stout – Dark Chocolate – Unsalted butter – Light brown sugar – All-purpose flour – Cocoa powder – Large eggs

Preheat oven to 350 degrees & line an 8x8 baking pan with parchment paper.

Step 1

Pour beer into a measuring cup and let rest so foam can subside. 

Step 2

Place chocolate & butter in the bowl of a double boiler or in a bowl set tightly over a saucepan of simmering water.

Step 3

Stir until chocolate & butter are both melted.

Step 4

Remove from heat & beat in sugar. Allow mixture to cool a bit. Beat in eggs until mixture looks glossy. Stir in stout. Fold in flour until just mixed.

Step 5

Pour brownie batter into prepared pan & bake for 20-24 mins, until a toothpick comes out sticky, but not wet.

Step 6

Let cool in pan before removing & cutting into squares. Lightly dust with confectioners' sugar if desired.

Step 7

Take one bite of this brownie & you'll never want a homemade brownie without chocolate stout again!
