Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar for rimming glass
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon for rimming glass
  • 2 oz apple cider
  • 2 oz vodka
  • ½ oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • ½ tsp (1/12 oz) maple syrup

Instructions

  • Mix sugar and cinnamon together on a small plate. Brush rim of glass with a little lemon juice, maple syrup, or water. Place glass upside down on the plate and twist to coat rim in cinnamon sugar.
  • Add apple cider, vodka, lemon juice, and maple syrup to an ice-filled shaker and shake well to combine.
  • Pour into prepared glass and top with garnish, like an apple round.

Notes

*Note: ½ teaspoon = 1/12 oz. Most jiggers don’t go that small, but this makes it precise for anyone using kitchen measuring spoons. Otherwise, just add a little dash! The maple syrup adds a little extra sweetness and deeper flavor, but too much can overpower the cider flavor.
