Iced Chaider {Starbucks Copycat}

The Starbucks Iced Chaider is a chai-meets-cider mashup that shakes chai concentrate with a Strawberry Acai refresher base for a drink that tastes surprisingly like spiced apple cider. This copycat comes together in one shaker bottle in about two minutes!

Ingredients

  • Ice
  • cup Strawberry Acai Refresher concentrate OR homemade Strawberry Acai Refresher base (see notes if using white cranberry strawberry juice)
  • cup water
  • cup chai concentrate

Instructions

  • In an ice-filled shaker bottle, add either store-bought Strawberry Acai Refresher concentrate, homemade version, or white cranberry strawberry juice; water; and chai concentrate.
  • Shake hard for 10-15 seconds, until frothy.
  • Pour mixture, including ice, into a cup.

Notes

  • To make your own Refresher base, see my recipe for the Strawberry Acai Refresher from scratch.
  • If you're using white cranberry strawberry juice, you can omit the water from the ingredients and use ½ cup juice and ⅓ cup chai concentrate instead.
  • This recipe makes one drink. Since the base is equal parts, it doubles or triples easily for a group. Just keep the ⅓ cup ratio.
  • Taste and adjust the drink to your desired sweetness level. Add a splash more water if it is too sweet or more chai if you want it sweeter and spicier.
  • If you want to make this drink even simpler, you can make it with apple cider instead. Omit the water from the ingredients and use ½ cup cider and ⅓ cup chai concentrate instead.
