Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 ½ oz vodka
  • 1 ½ oz apple cider
  • 1 oz pumpkin spice sauce or syrup (homemade or store-bought)
  • ¾ oz lemon juice
  • Apple for garnish (optional

Instructions

  • Mix sugar and cinnamon together on a small plate. Brush rim of martini glass with a little lemon juice, simple syrup, or water. Place glass upside down on the plate and twist to coat rim in cinnamon sugar.
  • Add vodka, apple cider, pumpkin spice sauce, and lemon juice to an ice-filled shaker and shake well to combine.
  • Pour martini into prepared martini glass. Garnish with apple slice and more cinnamon if desired.

Notes

  • Here's my homemade pumpkin spice syrup recipe. You can either use sauce or syrup. I'd say my homemade syrup is in-between the two.
  • See body of post for instructions for making this into a big batch pitcher cocktail.
  • To make as a mocktail, I recommend replacing the vodka with soda water.
