Ingredients

  • 1 cup ripe mashed bananas (from about 3 bananas)
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 tablespoon real maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon flaxseed meal
  • ½ cup dried cranberries

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or Silpat.
  • In a large bowl, combine mashed banana with oats, applesauce, maple syrup, flaxseed meal, and dried cranberries.
  • Drop 1 ½ tablespoon of dough on prepared baking sheet. If you want more "cookie-like" cookies, flatten dough a bit with the palm of your hand.
  • Bake for 20 minutes. Let cookies cool on baking sheet for a few minutes before moving to racks to cool completely.
