Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ cup fresh blackberries
  • 3 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • ½ cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 6 oz. tequila
  • 3 oz cointreau (can substitute with triple sec)
  • 4 cups ice cubes

Instructions

  • Put blackberries, sugar, and lemon juice in a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Add tequila, cointreau, and ice to blender and blend until ice is crushed and mixture is smooth.
  • Pour into glasses and serve with a lemon garnish and blackberry on top.

Notes

  • If you really hate seeds, you can push the blackberry puree through a strainer before adding the tequila and cointreau.
