Take your homemade Frappuccino to the next level with a layer of cold foam on top! This copycat Salted Caramel Mocha Strato Frappuccino recipe takes a mocha Frappuccino and adds a layer of salted caramel cream cold foam and a caramel sauce drizzle.
2tablespoonsalted caramel syrup(store-bought or with recipe linked in notes section)
Instructions
Add milk, mocha sauce, espresso/coffee, simple syrup (Starbucks uses plain, but I love using salted caramel syrup here), xanthan gum (or corn starch), and ice to blender and process until smooth and frothy.
Pour Frappuccino into cup and top with salted caramel cream cold foam and a caramel sauce drizzle.
Salted Caramel Cream Cold Foam
Mix milk, cream, and salted caramel syrup (or caramel syrup with pinch of salt) in a mason jar and shake to combine. Alternatively, you can stir all ingredients together in a bowl. If you're not using right away, keep in an airtight container in the fridge. You can use this salted caramel sweet cream in coffee as is if you want.
Turn mixture into cold foam right before using. You can either use an electric frother, hand mixer, or blender. Just add the sweet cream and froth, mix, or blend until the mixture turns into a foam. Alternatively, you can shake the mixture in a mason jar until it's frothy.
Notes
