Ingredients

  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • 2 Tbsp (1 oz) mocha sauce (store-bought or with recipe linked in notes section)
  • ¼ cup (2 oz) espresso or strongly brewed coffee
  • 1 ½ Tbsp (¾ oz) simple syrup (plain, vanilla, or salted caramel)
  • ¼ teaspoon xanthan gum (optional for thickening Frappuccino- can substitute with cornstarch, but use a little bit more)
  • ¾ cup ice
  • cup Salted Caramel Cream Cold Foam (recipe below)
  • ½ oz caramel sauce for drizzling

Salted Caramel Cream Cold Foam

  • ¾ cup 2% milk
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoon salted caramel syrup (store-bought or with recipe linked in notes section)

Instructions

  • Add milk, mocha sauce, espresso/coffee, simple syrup (Starbucks uses plain, but I love using salted caramel syrup here), xanthan gum (or corn starch), and ice to blender and process until smooth and frothy.
  • Pour Frappuccino into cup and top with salted caramel cream cold foam and a caramel sauce drizzle.

Salted Caramel Cream Cold Foam

  • Mix milk, cream, and salted caramel syrup (or caramel syrup with pinch of salt) in a mason jar and shake to combine. Alternatively, you can stir all ingredients together in a bowl. If you're not using right away, keep in an airtight container in the fridge. You can use this salted caramel sweet cream in coffee as is if you want.
  • Turn mixture into cold foam right before using. You can either use an electric frother, hand mixer, or blender. Just add the sweet cream and froth, mix, or blend until the mixture turns into a foam. Alternatively, you can shake the mixture in a mason jar until it's frothy.

Notes

  • Salted Caramel Cold Foam recipe makes enough for about 3 drinks.
