Whether you're having a Halloween party, attending a spooky gathering, or just want some festive snacks during your Halloween movie marathons, a Halloween charcuterie board is the perfect idea!
There are a million ways you can build a Halloween charcuterie board. You can fill them with all candy and only candy. You can include only orange and black foods. You can make all kinds of scary and gory treats.
I like to include a little bit of something for everyone on my board- a few store-bought treats, some simple homemade spooky snacks, and plenty of candy!
👻 What to include on Halloween charcuterie board
A board can be as simple or as complicated as you want it. I decided to include one fun homemade snack on my charcuterie board with lots of other simple snacks.
Here's what I put on my board:
- Jalapeño popper mummies: this easy snack is so fun! I'm including the simple instructions in this post and everything is detailed in the recipe card at the bottom of the post.
- Spiderweb guacamole: simply a bowl of guacamole with a spiderweb design drawn on in sour cream.
- Tortilla chips
- Cheese and salami in ghost, bat, and pumpkin shapes: I used these mini cookie cutters to cut the shapes out.
- Green olives with pimento
- Candy corn, candy corn pumpkins, and candy corn leaves
- Halloween gummies
- Clementine slices
- Rosemary sprigs: for decoration

Aside from the mummies, this charcuterie board took about 10 minutes to put together. And everyone will LOVE picking from it all evening long.
👩🍳 How to make jalapeño popper mummies
I always recommend including at least one totally homemade item on your charcuterie board. And these jalapeño popper mummies are perfect for a Halloween charcuterie board!
They're very easy to make even if you've never made homemade jalapeño poppers before.
I recommend cutting jalapeños in half and soaking them in ice water for 15-20 minutes before filling. This helps tame down some of the heat, which your guests may appreciate.
I kept the filling simple with cream cheese, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, and salt.
You can include any add-ins you want! Since these poppers aren't wrapped in bacon, you could always put some chopped bacon in your filling.

You'll stuff the pepper halves with the cream cheese filling. I like to put the filling in a Ziplock bag (or pastry bag), but the corner off, and pipe the filling in. You can spoon it in, too, if you prefer.
And then wrap them up like mummies! You can either use puff pastry, phyllo dough, or crescent roll dough for wrapping.
Simply cut the dough into ¼" strips and stretch them gently to lengthen.
Wrap a couple strips around each stuffed jalapeño, overlapping like bandages and leaving a small gap for the eyes near the top. Tuck ends underneath.

And bake at 400 degrees 15-20 minutes, until the puff pastry is nice and golden and the cream cheese filling is bubbling.
You can put the poppers under the broiler for the last couple minutes if you want.

And add the eyes on as the perfect finishing touch! I love using bloody eyes for added effect.
How cute?? And creepy? I can't decide if these are absolutely adorable or totally horrifying.
But I do know for sure that they're delicious and will be huge Halloween party hits!

And they make a wonderful showstopper piece on a Halloween charcuterie board.
What would you grab first?
