Every party needs a good dip (or three!) and this easy-to-make Bacon White Pizza Dip will have your guests raving. You might want to make two!
What would be served for dinner in your own little personal idea of heaven? In my heaven, we would eat dip for dinner every night. I'm talking a whole spread of dips and various crackers, tortilla chips, and toasted breads to dip into said dips.
I'd like a taco dip, a guacamole, a hummus, an onion dip, a buffalo chicken dip, and definitely a pizza dip. Actually, two pizza dips. One traditional tomato sauce pepperoni pizza dip and one white pizza dip.
With bacon, obviously. Clearly, I've thought about this quite a bit. And feel no shame about it. Proud of my dip obsession.
I've been making pepperoni pizza dip for a lot of my family gatherings lately. It's probably one of the easiest appetizers in the world to make and even better than that, it's freaking delicious.
People rave about it to the point it almost makes me feel guilty... Because it takes FIVE minutes to prepare (and about 15 to bake). Given my love for white pizza (this is one of my favorite blog recipes of all-time), I decided I needed to make a white pizza dip. With bacon.
Bacon White Pizza Dip Recipe
This has all the delicious elements of a white pizza (which basically means CHEESE), plus the addition of bacon. All you have to do is mix together cream cheese, ricotta cheese, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregano, salt, pepper, and crumbled bacon.
And spread it in the bottom of a small baking dish (I recommend a 6- or 8-inch dish... Any larger and the dip will be super thin).
Then sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top and bake for 15 minutes. If you want the top to be bubbly and golden, place it under the broiler for 2 minutes after that.
That's it! Can you say easiest dip in the world?? Luckily, it's also one of the tastiest!
Before you serve the white pizza dip, sprinkle one more slice of crumbled bacon on top, along with some chopped basil. And serve with the dipping instrument of your choice.
I opted for crostini, but also ate some of the leftovers with tortilla chips. Regular old crackers work just fine, too!
I mean, you may opt to just eat the pizza dip with a spoon and I certainly would not judge you for that.
OK, so let's be honest here, there is nothing healthy about this bacon white pizza dip. But who really wants a healthy dip anyway?? Aside from hummus, I want my dips to involve a whole lot of cheese and deliciousness.
And this is one of the cheesiest dips around. I mean, it's straight up cheese. With some bacon added in for good measure. And that makes me the happiest girl on Earth.
Did you notice how quick this was to make?? You literally mix the ingredients together and spread them into a baking dish. It doesn't get easier than that.
If you're making this for a party, you can even prep it all the day before and pop it in the oven before your guests arrive. Also, if you're making this for a party, you should probably make two. Just trust me on that.
I love traditional pizza dips with pepperoni and red sauce, but I think I might love this bacon white pizza dip even more. If I could only invite one dip to my party, this very well might be it.
I also recommend taking a peek at this pizza rolls recipe as they would be the perfect companion to this dip!

LOVE this. You had me at ricotta! I can see this as a weeknight dinner because what could be better than individual dips for dinner?! Also, if they're individual servings I don't have to race the hubby to get my share- and toddlers need their own dips for sanitary and sanity reasons!
