Looking for the perfect holiday gift for all the foodies and food lovers in your life? We are not Martha's 2025 Holiday Gift Guide for Food Lovers is here!

Can you believe it's that time of year again? It's time for my annual holiday gift guide for food lovers (AKA foodies).
This is the 16th year I've been writing this guide!
Because I've been doing this so long, my gift guides are a bit different than the average foodie gift guides. They generally don't feature all my favorite cookware, knives, appliances, cutting boards, etc. To me, those are timely and classic and have already been featured in my guides throughout the years.
Instead, I strive to find the fun food-related gifts of the current year; the things that are hot now and more unique than gifts you may find in other guides.
Most foodies already have the basic kitchen items that make great gifts and the things on my list help make kitchens prettier, more functional, and just plain more fun.
I'm including affiliate links to some of the products I'm featuring in my 2025 holiday gift guide (which means I may make a small commission at no extra cost to you should you make a purchase), but if you can find any of these products at from a small local business, please purchase from there instead!
See the bottom of this guide for links to all my previous gift guides... Most of the items are still very relevant and great gifts!
Sugarfina Candy Advent Calendar:
I have to start with a "gift" you should give ASAP since it's perfect for leading up to the holidays. This Sugarfina candy advent calendar is an advent calendar for adults and every day has an artisanal candy behind the door. You might not even want Christmas to come with this calendar!
Mason Cash Mixing Bowls:
I'm obsessed with these beautiful Mason Cash mixing bowls and think they would look great in so many kitchens. These would make a wonderful gift when paired with baking ingredients and tools like a spatula, whisk, wooden spoon, etc.
Edible Butter Candle Kit:
OK, how cool is this? It's a DIY butter candle kit that lets you make little candles that are actually edible butter. You can use them on bread boards (and dip the bread in!), charcuterie plates, and more.

Vintage Butter Churner:
And if you know someone really interested in making their own butter, this vintage glass butter churner is so fun! It's easy to use and fun to be able to make your own homemade butter.
Tile Butter Dish:
Speaking of butter, a pretty butter dish is always a good gift idea as it's a countertop piece that most people see every day. I love this tile butter dish from Anthropologie.

Sourdough Starter Kit:
And if your gift recipient is going to have all that butter around, you should probably give them the gift of homemade bread, too! This sourdough starter kit comes with everything they need for the perfect loaf. Well, except the starter, which you should include in this gift if you have your own! Otherwise, you can purchase some starter to help them along.
Smeg Kitchen Scale:
Another gorgeous countertop piece that can add beauty to a kitchen instead of clutter. This Smeg Kitchen Scale comes in a variety of colors and has a fun retro look.

Funny Foodie Hats:
This company makes some of the best funny foodie hats. Everyone has someone in their life who can't deal with the sound of chewing and this "chew quieter" hat is perfection. Personally, I'm a fan of "less regrets more baguettes" and "all I want is a little cheese and quiet"

Pizzelle Espresso Cups:
These little pizzelle espresso cups are absolutely perfect for anyone who enjoys a little afternoon coffee and has an affinity for all things Italian treats.

Handmade Pretzels:
I was lucky enough to have Uncle Jerry's Pretzels send me a selection of pretzels recently and decided they'd make the perfect stocking stuffer and/or host/hostess gift. The sourdough pretzels are handcrafted in rural Pennsylvania using just five simple ingredients-flour, water, sourdough starter, yeast, and salt. They're super crunchy and delicious. But, I'm an even bigger fan of the dark chocolate covered pretzels!

Lobster Pajamas:
I feel like pajamas are having a moment. And foodie pajamas are everywhere right now. These lobster pajamas are adorable and the perfect gift for anyone who lives for lobster season.
Portland Syrups:
You know I have TONS of simple syrup recipes on my blog. And you can easily make any of them and jar them up for a nice homemade gift. But if you want to add to your friend's bar cart without any work, I highly recommend Portland Syrups. You can currently customize a 3-syrup gift pack of syrups, choosing from flavors like brown sugar, Georgia peach, marionberry, grapefruit tonic, bright chai, and more.
Luxardo Cherries:
Speaking of bar carts, gifting to someone who loves mixing up a good cocktail? These luxardo cherries are a must-give! They're maraschino cherries that are actually candied fresh. They're dark and delicious and perfect for so many cocktails; especially Manhattans. Amarena cherries are another great gift idea.
Floral Serving Platter:
I think I've had something from Rifle Paper Co. in my gift guide every single year for the past 16 years. They make so many gorgeous items and lots for the kitchen. This ceramic floral platter brings extra beauty to anything you serve!

Foodie Bookmarks:
Tie together my love of food and reading? Yes, please! Humdrum's bookmarks are some of my absolute favorites because they're high-quality and come in SO many fun food designs! Favorites include the stick of butter, the cheeseboard, crab legs, sushi, and so many more!

Novel Tea Literary Blends:
Speaking of a love for reading, these literary tea blends are also fun for any bookworm friends. You can opt for the "Pride and Peppermint" blend or customize a set, choosing from blends like Pippi Oolongstocking, the Picture of Earl Grey, and War and Peach.

Personalized Heart Spatulas:
These heart spatulas are a fun stocking stuffer for loved ones. You can even customize the spatula handle with your loved one's name or a special message.

Jeni's Ice Cream Collection:
For the person who has everything, gift them with ice cream! Jeni's Ice Cream is some of the best around and this collection comes with 6 of their holiday flavors sent straight to your gift recipient.

Foodie Linen Cocktail Napkins:
This company makes so many fun and gorgeous linen cocktail napkins. You can buy a themed pack like these hors d'oeuvres napkins, these caesar salad napkins, and these cheese napkins.
Spaghetti Dust:
Another super fun foodie-focused stocking stuffer is this Spaghetti Dust. All you have to do is cook and drain your pasta and toss it with some EVOO and some spaghetti dust for an instant flavorful meal!

Good olive oil in a pretty bottle:
And you can make the spaghetti dust a themed gift by adding some artisan spaghetti and nice extra-virgin olive oil. Choose an olive oil that's both quality and comes in a gorgeous bottle like this Yiayia and Friends Love EVOO.
Smart Pasta Maker:
While we're talking about pasta, some people love the pasta making process. And some people just want fresh pasta without all the work. This smart pasta maker is for them! You just add in the ingredients and out comes fresh homemade pasta in under 10 minutes.
Greatest Chocolates of the World:
This fun kit includes 8 different chocolates from countries around the world. Give your gift recipient the chance to try "diverse chocolate flavors, textures, and cultural traditions" that they likely wouldn't be able to try without traveling the world.

Cardamom Odor Neutralizing Handsoap:
OK, this is a pricey soap (but I'm holding out hope for holiday sales!), but the Cardamom and Iris Odor Neutralizing Hand Soap has incredible reviews and is built specifically for cooks as it breaks down food odors like garlic and seafood and also gently exfoliates away grime. Plus, there aren't many fragrances better than cardamom!
Cat Spoon Rest:
For the cat lovers in your life, these cat spoon rests are both classy and cute!

Pickle of the Month Club:
They have an of-the-month club for basically everything now and this Pickle of the Month Club is both more economical than most of the monthly food clubs and so of the moment.

Future Foodie Board Books:
Start your kids or your friends' kids young with set of books that will teach them all about the different types of pasta, cookies, and cheese. You know, the important things in life!
Mornings at Levain Candle:
If you know someone who is a Levain cookie lover, this Mornings at Levain candle is a dream gift! It has the fragrance of "rich cocoa, chopped walnuts, a touch of sea salt, and airy musk" and would be a fabulous holiday hostess gift along with some Levain cookies, of course.

Oyster Mug:
I'm a sucker for all things oyster themed and this oyster mug is absolutely gorgeous!
Maine Oyster Box:
Or you could simply gift a loved one with a box of Maine oysters! This is especially perfect for anyone who loves Maine lobsters, but lives too far to get them on the regular.

The Oyster Clamp:
And if you're going to gift someone oysters, you should probably gift them some shucking tools, too! This Oyster Clamp makes shucking extra easy. You should probably gift a nice oyster knife and gloves, too.

Heart Coasters:
I love these darling heart coasters that are made with hand beaded glass.

Good Things Cookbook:
I always like to include a cookbook or two in my gift guides and the Good Things cookbook by Samin Nosrat is definitely the foodie book of the year. It's by the author of Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat (previously featured in a foodie gift guide!) and includes 125 "soul-nourishing" recipes.
Milk Street Shorts:
Also, forever a fan of Milk Street, I'm excited about their new cookbook Milk Street Shorts. The 150 recipes in this book seem very approachable and are described as "casual, improvisational, and fun."
Festive Juice Glasses:
I've always loved Icon Juice Glasses, but these festive glasses are my new favorites. They're made with mouth-blown glass and have a gorgeous iridescent shimmer.

Fishwife Caviar:
Another extra special gift for that foodie who has everything? Fishwife now sells white sturgeon caviar! Yes, it's very pricey, but it's a delicacy that you can serve in so many ways. And Fishwife's packaging is always so gorgeous. They actually now sell this caviar at Whole Foods!

Foodie Lip Masks:
Another fabulous stocking stuffer is a foodie flavored lip mask or lip gloss. Laniege has some of my favorite lip mask flavors, including a Pumpkin Pie and Strawberry Shortcake.
Kitchen Torch:
Every home cook needs a kitchen torch and this one is highly rated as being easy-to-use and affordable. Crème Brûlée, here we come!
Whew! I think that just about wraps up all of my favorite fun food items for the year. But if you still didn't find a gift you love, take a scroll through any of my previous year's gift guides:
